NASA’s SpaceX Crew-5 returned to Earth after 5 months on the International Space Station on Monday.
The crew landed in the Gulf of Mexico shortly after 9:00 PM (0200 GMT). The SpaceX “Endurance” capsule includes crew members, Koichi Wakata of Japan, Russian cosmonaut Anna Kikina, and NASA astronauts Nicole Mann and Josh Cassada.
Crew-5 launched from Florida’s Cape Canaveral in early October 2022 and one of its crew members, Nicole Mann, became the first American woman to reach space.
