An eight-part documentary series about the boxing legend Muhammad Ali, titled Success: 8 Fights currently working, reported Deadline. British-Zimbabwean actor Regé-Jean Page and American artist Morgan Freeman have both been confirmed to be on board as co-hosts.

The series will be based on Jonathan Eig’s biography, Ali: A Life and written by Oscar-winning author Kevin Willmott. According to the publication, Willmott, Lori McCreary for Show Entertainment and Emily Brown will join Freeman and Page as producers.

Although no official date has been announced for the series, it is ready to be broadcast on the streaming service, Peacock.

According to the statement of the show, Success: 8 Fights “Eight important moments will be described and explained in the famous life of Muhammad Ali. Each part will be organized around one fight from Ali’s life, but the essence of the event, the event really about it, the battle inside-the drama outside the ring.-where we will study the struggle that takes place in the heart and mind of one of the most important people and controversies of the 20th century.”

This is not the first time that the popularity of sports will be celebrated in the cinema. Before this, there were many documentaries and movies that honored the great boxer, including The Best (1977), Ali (2001), What’s My Name: Muhammad Ali (2019), Blood Brothers: Malcolm X & Muhammad Ali (2021).

Heavyweight legend Ali, a 20th Century icon whose fame outlasted the sport in an impressive three-decade career, died in 2016. .

Ali’s 30-year career, which spanned from 1960 to 1981 and saw him retire with a record of 56-5, included notable feats such as the Rumble in the Jungle against George Foreman.
