Indian veteran Satish Kaushik has died at the age of 66

The Indian Satish Kaushik died at the age of 66, reported Hindustan Times. The actor, who has worked in many shows such as Mr. India, Ram Lakhan, died of a heart attack.

Two days before his death, Kaushik was seen celebrating Holi at the home of Indian journalist Javed Akhtar. He also shared pictures from the same on Twitter. He was joined at the party by Richa Chadha, Mahima Chaudhary, Ali Fazal and others.

Bollywood is respectable

His friend Anupam Kher confirmed the news of Kaushik’s death on Twitter. He wrote, “I know that death is the biggest reality in this world! But I never thought in my dreams that I will write this about my best friend Satish Kaushik while he was alive. It is a accident in a friendship of 45 years! Life! will never be the same without you, Satish! Om Shanti.”

Kangana Ranaut also tweeted about Satish. “Woke up to this terrible story, he is my favorite, a very successful actor and director, Satish Kaushik, he is a kind and honest person, I was happy to direct that to Emergency. She will be missed, Om Shanti,” he wrote.

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar wrote, “I am deeply shocked to hear of the demise of actor-director Satish Kaushik ji, who was always vibrant, energetic and full of life. He will be greatly missed by the movie industry and millions of fans. My deepest condolences to his family.”

Kareena Kapoor took to her Instagram account and shared a picture with the caption that read, “Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, Milengey Milengey. Heartbroken Satish ji. Think about all the times we spend together. Rest in laughter and peace.”

Abhishek Bachchan took to Twitter and wrote, “Shocked to hear of the death of our beloved Satish Kaushik ji. A very gentle, kind and loving person. Always happy and smiling. It is a huge loss to our business. Rest in peace dear brother Satish. We will all miss you.”

About Satish Kaushik

The old Indian star was born on April 13, 1956. He went on to become an actor, director, singer, songwriter and writer. Kaushik, according to the publication, graduated from Kirori Mal College and was an alumnus of the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India.

He has worked in movies like Ram Lakhan, Saajan Chale Sasural, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and became a household name for her film Calendar at Shekhar Kapur’s Mr. India.
