MGM fight news Faith III took a hit in its opening weekend, earning an estimated $58.7 million to top the North American box office in one of the first big shows for a sports movie.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — In the Swordsmith Village, an anime sequel from Crunchyroll, ranked fourth with $10.1 million. The premiere of “Demon Slayer” in 2021 had a first record for a non-English language category, earning $19.5 million, Differences reported.

And in the fifth is Lionsgate’s Christian drama Jesus Revolution, a story about a religious organization in 1960s California. It raised $8.7 million.
