Look first for Priyanka, Richard’s ‘Citadel’ is out

Since the news about Priyanka Chopra appearing in the Citadel, it was eagerly awaited for an explanation – and the demand was answered on Monday. The first look for Prime Video’s world spy series has been released on social media and the pictures have only taken the excitement to another level.

The first picture featuring Chopra in a red body with a gun was enough to get everyone’s attention. Another photo in the series shows a scene of his biography that marks his character Nadia Sinh as “dead.”

With men suited up with guns, scary oranges, punches and a romantic scene paired with Richard Maddens, the first look for the series is giving off mystery and ready-for-revenge vibes.

The film also featured the British actor Lesley Manville, who is now appearing as a series regular alongside Madden, Chopra and Stanley Tucci previously announced.

Regarding the reason why Chopra’s character died, it is important to know the story of the Citadel. According to Deadline, “Eight years ago, Citadel fell. The world’s independent spy agency—worked to support the safety and security of all—was destroyed by the staff of Manticore, a powerful alliance that controls the world from the shadows. With the fall of Citadel, top agents Mason Kane (Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Chopra) have their memories erased as they escape and They lived. They remained hidden ever since, building new lives under new identities, without knowing their past.

Meanwhile, the spies will be reunited to embark on a mission that will take them around the world in an attempt to stop Manticore, while fighting a relationship “built on secrets, lies, and a terrible-but-not-eternal love.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Citadel will premiere on April 28 with two episodes, followed by a new story that will be released every week every Friday until May 26.
