Baloch singer Wasu Khan passed away

Baloch singer Wasu Khan died on Friday in Sukkur, reported Express News. The story was also shared by singer Shehzad Roy, who featured Khan in his video. “Wasu Khan died this morning. He could not read or write but he had great political intelligence and wrote satirical words. We miss him,” the crooner said on the micro-blogging site.

According to reports, Khan was suffering from respiratory illness and was admitted to a private hospital where he died. The singer was previously known to be living in a difficult situation but Roy later reached out. Singer Apney Ulloo has since reached out to help his partner and longtime friend, taking the matter to the Balochistan government.

“Wasu and I met the CM today and Wasu told him that he has sold the land, I bought it for him and requested CM to give him a house. Jam Kamal assured Khan to me that he will do his best to help him. Discussed the reform of education in Balochistan,” said Roy in a tweet in 2020. In addition, it was revealed e Roy has been in constant contact with Khan for the past ten years except for the period when the family first contracted the coronavirus.

“Ten years ago I was still in contact with Wasu until my whole family got Corona,” he said. It was added, Roy revealed that after talking to Khan, the latter said that he did not want to disturb the singer. “He didn’t call me, he said he didn’t want to bother me anymore and wanted help from the government. So, I have come to Quetta to meet him. He asked me to take him to the CM,” Roy said while posting a video of Khan in which he discussed his positions. As at 4:18 pm
