Kirti Kulhari, the popular actor from Prime Video’s show Four More Shots Please!, has confirmed that she will reprise her role as Parminder in the film version of the popular Indian sitcom, Khichdi. According to the Indian Express, the actor, 37, is over the moon after announcing that he will be returning to the sets of the 2000s comedy. Talking about the series, Kulhari shared, "Khichdi: The Film is finally happening and it’s going to be a fun ride. I remember so many things from the first film, from shooting the song Chal Chal Bhonsle Market to doing all the crazy comedy scenes."Talking about reprising his role in Khichdi: The Movie, he added, "I am very happy to be back as Parminder in the series since this is where it all started for me. I have found out over the years that Khichdi is a huge fan, especially among children and families." He repeated, "I’m often asked why I don’t do comics anymore so it’s nice to get back into the genre with this series. This Khichdi will be sweeter, more aromatic, and fun than before."
The film also stars Supriya Pathak, Rajeev Mehta, Jamnadas Majethia, Nimisha Vakharia, Anang Desai and Vandana Pathak. The Parekh family, which includes Himanshu, Hansa, Babuji, and Praful, is the main focus of the story. It revealed an interesting relationship between Himanshu and his next-door neighbor, Parminder.
