The first song from Essa Khan’s romantic movie Babylicious, with former couple Shahroz Sabzwari and Syra Yousuf, is finally out – on Valentine’s Day – and about a love affair; a wedding song. Dressed in brightly colored shararas and embroidered kurtas, the music video for Ghazab Kuriye open up and Syra runs excitedly towards a man who is hugging and surprisingly, it is not Shahroz.

The set, with its traditional and beautiful decor, is a perfect three-story building fit for a big fat mehendi. The scene of the episode quickly changes to what appears to be a groom entering the wedding hall wearing a blue shalwar kurta and an ivory shawl.

Syra, wearing a beautiful white floral lehenga with a tangerine embroidered collar and an elegant blue dupatta, turns her heart to see the love of her life. and begins to dance to the lyrics of her heart being stolen by Aamir Qureshi, the lady.

From traditional twirls to thumkas to the traditional Shakar Wandaan Re dance steps, Ghazab Kuriye is a mehendi song above and beyond – and boy, can Syra dance. You better believe that the funky song will be played at every wedding ceremony and engagement party from now on. The producers have done an amazing job with the dance sequence and the shots are close to perfect, with wide and close angles and the couple looking crazy in love.

But the trailer and Mann Ranjhan Focusing on Shahroz and Syra’s romance, this song makes us curious as to who will end up playing the lead role in the film – e although many fans are clamoring for a Syra-Shahroz reunion.

Babylicious, originally scheduled to launch on Valentine’s Day, has been postponed for the umpteenth time. Meanwhile, the romantic comedy will release on June 27 on Eidul Azha this year. The makers said the new date came after “a thorough review of the experimental market.” A week before the first announcement, they wrote on Instagram, “Babylicious it comes from a place of love and happiness. We want to present the film with that same idea. See you all in theaters this summer!”
