Mahira Khan’s girls collection might be almost sold out, but fans are still drooling over the price. M By Mahira, Khan’s new venture includes clothes she swears by – less ivory. Her first collection, Razia, was inspired by her beloved Nani. The innovative brand recently launched two kurtas, a trouser, a dupatta and a silk suit.
M By Mahira was launched on February 12 and fans are in a hurry to check out the pieces on the website. However, many were shocked when they saw the prices of these items. The embroidered ivory dupatta was priced at Rs3500 and was the cheapest item from the line. Her silk suit set (a shirt and pant) was expensive at Rs24,950.
Many took to social media and shared their frustrations about the ‘expensive’ clothing line. While fans continue to express their admiration for the star, many have expressed their inability to stand his parts. “Mahira Khan is selling a white kurta for 13,000? And it’s already sold? Why? How? Who?”
Another said, “Mahira jaan, I love you but these are very expensive. You can get them from the market for Rs2000.”
Another added, “Mahira Khan sells silk silk ensemble for only 25,000 PKR! Suddenly, Sara Shahjahan looks good and cheap.”
One tweep said, “Mama saw M by Mahira Khan’s dresses and prices and said ‘I can get shalwar kameez like these stitched from the tail for Rs500’.”
