Karachi Kings pacer, Mohammad Amir, made a shocking statement, saying that bowling to Babar Azam or a tailender is the same for him.
While talking to a local channel, the left-hander said his job is to pick wickets, regardless of who the batsman is at the end.
“These types of matches and competitions between the players keep the players on their toes. I like these types of challenges because they keep me focused,” said Amir.
“My job is to take wickets and win matches for my team, so for me, facing Babar or a batsman is number 10 will be the same,” he added.

The captain of Peshawar Zalmi, Babar, also played in his competition with his former team from Karachi Kings.
On a question about the possibility of facing Amir in the aforementioned game, Babar said that he will stick to his principles, as he does against any other player.
“The competition is good for the league. Not only Karachi, but all the local teams are doing well. That’s why all foreigners play in this league because it’s a good league,” said Babar. “When I play against any good player, I stick to my basics.”
Babar-led Zalmi will play their first match of HBL PSL 8 against Kings on Tuesday at National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi.
