When news broke that Faris Shafi, Shae Gill, Asim Azhar and Abdullah Siddiqui would be teaming up for the upcoming PSL single, everyone was hopeful – and rightly so. Artists have proven time and time again that they are made for great things.
But it seems that finding the perfect combo for a PSL song is the holy grail of all amazing music. While the song, titled, Sab Sitaray Humaray, is neither half-bad nor half-baked, Pakistanis feel displeased with Shafi’s “meocre” rap and Azhar’s “machon mein aag lage”.
Earlier, many on Twitter suggested that the song offers redemption to Naseebo Lal, Aima Baig and Young Stunners’ 2021 PSL anthem, Groove Mera, which they now support was “no school” pulled back in the day. Shae Gill is the only savior of the road for some, while for others there are other anthems and a collection of memes for fellow Twitterati. .
But first, the real PSL anthem!
It’s raining memes, hallelujah
Gill, the savior
‘Groove Mera’ gets his Twitter due
All the PSL anthems prove the goodness of GROOVE MERA but they were attacked in vain because people could not sing Naseebo Lal a song for a National event.
