Political analyst and journalist Mazhar Abbas congratulated the Pakistani team and the entire country.

He called Pakistan’s victory over Bangladesh a “huge victory” in the semi-final and praised the “great” cricketer Shaheen Afridi.

Also, he recognized cricketer Mohammad Haris for his “fantastic” performance in the last two matches but said that he “shouldn’t have played the shot he got”.

Meanwhile, PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi said that “Pakistanis will do the impossible if they have the will to win and the dedication to succeed.”
